The UK government has published revised guidance on how to design major public procurement projects (involving steel) in a way that ensures the best value for money by recognising relevant wider social and environmental benefits where appropriate. The revised guidance replaces existing guidance on procuring steel in major projects.
Stockton Council plans to spend £262m as part of its 3-year capital programme. Many projects are listed in this article, including:
