Tenders range from the simple (not often!) to the very complex. Public sector tenders of course do have particular procedures that they follow. For inexperienced bidders, understanding the process and making sure the bid is compliant is often the focus. As your knowledge and experience grows the focus will shift from the mechanics of the tender to maximising the quality of your submissions and your win rate. You can ask us whatever burning tendering questions you have and we’ll answer them during our Q&A session in the webinar.

Our webinar will cover:
◆ The most common types of public sector tender processes
◆ How tenders are published and how to access
◆ Reviewing and understanding tenders and their scoring
◆ Evaluating your suitability to bid and making your bid decision

£7.5 million to digitally schedule shifts and save NHS staff time
The funding is part of a £26 million national fund to have all NHS doctors, nurses and other clinical staff on e-rostering systems by 2021. The £7.5m will be used to support digital shift scheduling across 38 NHS trusts, which will allow staff to spend more time with patients.
This is a useful article as it provides a breakdown of this spend per trust, highlighting how much has been spent for each project. To access all NHS and other public sector tech tenders, use our Search Categories to find the most relevant opportunities for your business.

Transport for London gets the go-ahead for 852 new homes in Acton
Half of these new homes will be affordable, as part of Mayor Sadiq’s strategy to provide genuinely affordable homes with excellent transport links. 9 new buildings will create these homes, and offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom properties.
The site for this project also includes more than 2,300 sqm of commercial and retail space.
The proposals form part of a wider housing programme, which aims to provide more than 10,000 homes across the capital. Permission has been granted for 6,650 homes already, with approval for a further 1,250 homes pending, and more housing applications to be submitted this year. This means TfL will be creating significant opportunities for contractors as part of their overall strategy. Ensure you never miss a tender with Tenders Direct.
